hello hello! :)

yes it's an update! :)

so I can't exactly remember what I've been doing since the end of exams which is sort of the past 2 and a half weeks - besides the med booze cruise which was AWESOME - so I'll just blog about our Brisbane/Sydney trip :)

So last last Monday (the 15th) Cass, Vivian, Linda and me flew to Brisbane! Sam picked us up and we hanged around Brisbane city, drinking bubble tea and playing jenga for 4 hours. OH, and we had an epic first convo with some Brisbane locals:
*random group of schoolgirls rocked up to us*
schoolgirls: Do you have a dollar?
us: No.
schoolgirls: Where are you from?
us: Melbourne.
schoolgirls: No, we meant like where are you originally from? Like your background?
us: Does that really matter?
schoolgirls: Well, we just wanna check if you guys can speak Manda...Mandanese.
us: Um....no?
one of the schoolgirls: Guys, we better go now before they rob us.
*schoolgirls walk off*
HAHA BOGANS. Anyways, Bonnie arrived that night and we all crashed in Sam's place - technically we crashed in Sam's place the whole trip haha.

On Tuesday, we went to the Gold Coast and hanged out at the beach. Nathan and Pat flew in so that made 8 of us. :) awesome dat at the beach. we made a lifesize armchair out of sand. lolol and we buried Sam in the sand. hahahahaha

On Wednesday, we went to Movie World in Gold Coast! Not many people there, so we got to sit the rides over and over again. mega awesome! Nathan pussied out of Superman Escape the first time round but we forced him on the second time round. hohoho

On Thursday, we watched Harry Potter! It wasn't that bad actually. I thought it was definitely one of the better Harry Potter movies. Then we shopped around Birsbane, While waiting for the girls to shop, Nathan, one of Linda's Brisbane guy friends whose name I can't remember, and I went to try out the new XBox Kinect at a nearby promo booth. And there we met a schizo man. hahahaha the dude was harassing the XBox promo lady so much it was even freaky for us. lolol but yea, pretty interesting to see a real life schiz. hahahaha

On Friday, we toured the city again and sat on a ferry. We spontaneously visited the posh-ier areas of the city and I was unlucky enough to have worn a singlet on that day. hahaha I was so out of place ev erywhere we went. lolol we stayed up late that night since it was our last one in Brissy watching The 40 Year Old Virgin and Superbad on DVD. epic. hahaha

On Saturday, Cass, Pat, Nathan and I left for Sydney! Linda stayed back in Brisbane, Vivian flew back to Melbourne and Bonnie caught a different flight to Sydney. Sam who stays in Brissy anyway obviously didn't come with us haha. We arrived in Sydney and went out for dinner with Nathan's family. btw, Cass, Pat and I were bunking in Nathan's place. haha

On Sunday, Nathan's mum brought us their family friend's farm. We got to stand on the back on a truck and drive over a huge ass area of rough terrain and stuff. Pretty much like sitting a roller coaster. hahaha. Then I got to fire a gun for the first time in my life! We shot clay pigeons with shotguns. hahaha megaaaaaa awesome. :) and Nathan tackled a goat because one of the aunts there wanted a male goat to mate with her female ones. Poor male goat was crying the whole time after they tied his legs up. Oh, and we had a really good lunch as well. haha it was like an 8 course meal? super awesome day :)

On Monday, Cass, Pat and I met up with Duncan to go to Bondi beach. We spent the day there and built another life-size armchair out of sand + a sand turtle. hahahahaha. Then we had dinner with Nathan's family back home that night. :)

On Tuesday, we went round Sydney city and visited Darling Harbour. :)

On Wednesday, we went to Circular Quay and caught a ferry to Manly! haha :)

On Thursday, Cass, Pat, and I visited Duncan's house, then Bonnie's house, then went shopping with Bonnie. :)

On Friday, we met up with Amy, who also flew up to Sydney, and we went to Adriano Zumbo's cafe to pick up macarons! haha then we hanged about in the city. :)

Today, we were supposed to fly back to Melbourne, but due to bad weather in Melbourne, our plane didn't come in to Sydney and our flight got cancelled. So we're now booked for the flight to Melbourne at 8.45am tomorrow but that's depending on the weather in Melbourne today and if the planes can come in?

Yea, so my plan tomorrow will be to arrive in Melbourne and attend the wedding at night! coolios! hahaha that was meant to be pronounced cool- li-ohs btw. lol.

So anyway since our flight got cancelled, we're just chilling in Nathan's place today. haha. I just had a long PS3 gaming session with Nathan and now he's napping in his bed. lolol

Anyways, I'M FLYING BACK HOME ON THURSDAY PEOPLE! (not sure how many of you guys would have survived reading my long wordy post to read this but yea I hope you do read this lol)

cant wait for the epic times we're gonna have. :) see ya soon! :)))

EXAMS ARE DONE AND DUSTED WITH :D

written was alright/slightly difficult-ish
but I reckon I aced me OSCEs :D

epic karaoke til 3am last night
helped Sam move stuff this afternoon then had a small get together with the curry dance gang
paintball tomorrow morning then booze cruise down the Yarra at night
landlord meeting and Amy's birthday lunch on friday
moving Cass' stuff to Clayton on saturday
playing badminton with Jeremy the French backpacker who became our friend on sunday
leaving for Brissy, Gold Coast and Sydney for 12 days on monday
back on the 27th, cousin's wedding on the 28th
HOME ON THE 2ND OF DECEMBER

btw guys, got a couple of friends coming over in january: matt - who's a friend from tazmania, matt's friend jack who's also from tazzy, my current roommate Nathan the crazy jackass and possibly (a big possibly) cass. matt and jack are confirmed, nathan is sort of confirmed but cass is 50-50 ish? haha so yeah. i'll post pics of the rest of the guys up just to sate your stalking interests.
