Hello! As promised (for once), here's some pics from our Alfred Hospital site visit one month ago. Pictures courtesy of Trish's DLSR :)

On the train there

Nathan dressed up so much he looked more like a bloody chinese businessman than a med student. lol

don't ask me why, they wanted to pose with the car. haha

everyone! waiting in the staff lounge for 5th years to bring us around

Jon Lee. Apparently everyone in Melbourne knows him? haha

Right....so the next few pics were taken by Nathan of Trish eating/stuffing her mouth. HAHA. try to ignore me - being me, as you guys know, I looked dumb. lol

BITE

ngam-ngam-ngam

oh shit, I'm on camera

SMILE

wait a sec...

oh crap, the teaching doctor's here

HIDE

haha. Anyways, we split into small groups of 4 after that, and a 5th year brought each group around to find patients and look at stuff. My group had: me, Nathan, Trish and Dhanu. We're awesome. :) and our 5th year was probably the best compared to the other 5th years because he actually tried to make our day interesting (he actually cannulated Nathan for fun after Nathan asked for it haha). The other guides were like "meh, I'm gonna get rid of my group fast. *1 hour later* muahahaha I'm free!" ~YES I know I'm lame. It's in my genes. haha

We couldn't take more photos around the wards and other places after that due to confidentiality and legal issues.

But we did get a group pic with our 5th year. :)

Nathan, Trish, me, Dhanu, Kieran(?)(cant really remember his name). This is in the staff lounge btw, which is freaking cool for a hospital. haha

GROUP PIC outside the Alfred!

Nathan's cannulated arm - which means a needle was stuck into that. All for fun :)
