Ok. Orientation's still going on.

Monday and Tuesday: full of absolutely boring and unimportant lectures.

Wednesday! Things start to get interesting. Trinity had a field trip to Sovereign Hill for students in Groups 1-12. I'm in Group 1 btw.

The trip was actually quite boring, but it was better than the other days.

Sovereign Hill is a place where gold was mined during the Gold Rush about a hundred years ago. G-O-L-D. The whole place was about gold. Flithy, shiny, irresistable gold.

We were allowed to mine gold in a little river, but we soon found out that we could only mine gold specks out of the river. lol. So there's no point for us to continue mining.

Oh, we also saw them melt gold. They moulded $151,000 worth of molten gold into the shape of a 3kg bar. Oolala~

Neways, here are the pictures:

I was in Group 1, but I kinda got lost and separated from Group 1. So I secretly joined Group 4 instead. Just for the day. Haha

They made us put on clothes from the 1800s. I got picked because I could answer the guy's questions on corsets. LOL

Bloody shit. My face looks like a gorilla. -.-

Molten GOLD. coolness

The dude actually let the little girl hold the $151,000 gold bar. o.O

On Thursday, we had a little Amazing Race competition around campus in the morning. I was in Team 6 with Yann Kang, Matthew, Wee Lee and Top. We scored 878 points. Haha, we didn't win but were among the top few teams. Woohoo!

Task 15: Take a picture of your team with the sundial. lol (Wee Lee, Matthew, Yann Kang, Top, Poser Sean)

We had a drama orientation game thingy in the evening. It was quite OK I guess.

Friday! Totally awesome. we had our Big Noise workshop and performance, which were awesome and fun. Imagine loud african drums, a professional drum team, professional Capoeira people, a professional DJ and 400+ clapping, shouting, jumping students. BRILLIANT.

Haha I will update more about Big Noise when (or if) I get the pictures from Top. Haha

Cheers!

P.S: Happy Belated Birthday Chay Ann! I'm not sure whether you got my SMS or not, but I hoped you had a great day. Haha

Since I did this for Facebook, I thought I might as well post it here as well. =)

Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you.

1) I sleepwalk. Haha I only ever did it twice, so I guess it's not that serious. The first time I did it, I walked down a flight of stairs to the kitchen and woke up there. A flight of stairs babeh!

2) I hate durians.

3) I like dogs. But I prefer big dogs (like my rottweilers) to small dogs (like puny chi hua huas).

4) My armpits smell when I sweat. LOL

5) My legs are abso-super-lutely hairless. My legs are exactly like Chay Ann's armpits; they're smooth.

6) I like telling lame jokes.

7) I love sports. Every kind of sport. Maybe except golf, but definitely everything else.

8) I eat a lot, but I'm not overweight. yet.

9) I learned how to play Mah Jong since I was 3 or 4. And from some reason, I'm damn lucky in the game. So far, only Raymond won me upside down. But that's because he's Raymond and he's just lucky in everything. lol

10) Though it may seem otherwise, I do swear and curse a lot. Probably not as much as Kyle, but more often than usual. I'm not as goody goody as you think. Really. I'm not lying. Stop laughing! I'm not lying, I tell you. #$%^ you!

11) Milk makes me fart. I think it's a lactose intolerance thing. haha

12) I like Japanese food.

13) I'm a blur person. I don't see things that are right in front of me. Like the time my parents stood behind me during orientation and took pictures of my back without me knowing until I reached home at night. -.-

14) I can't sing for nuts.

15) I'm a Maths nerd. Hell yeah!

16) I bake. I like baking chocolate stuff, but I can bake anything as long as I have the recipe.

17) I'm a rock-head by nature, by I don't mind listening to any other kind of music. Except Blues.

18) I support Liverpool. Suck ass Man U supporters!

19) I was asthmatic when I was younger.

20) I went for swimming training when I was younger, but gave up after I couldn't see my trunks beneath my belly. Oh, and the coach gave me hell too. Too much strain for mybelly a young boy.

21) I play online games, but I don't know how to Dota. I'll see if I can learn how to from the Albert House peeps.

22) In my opinion, I'm normal-sized, but my mum thinks I'm underweight and all my friends call me fat. But I still think I'm normal-sized.

23) I like Jessica Alba.

HOLY MOLY

24) I can watch war movies over and over again without getting bored. Come on, I find them cool and fun. haha

25) I currently still don't trust Jay Min's driving (even though he says he has improved). Sorry dude, I will only sit in your car when you either get a truck or learn how to use the brake. haha. Our go-karting experience has and will never leave me. lol

BONUS

26) It's just a thing of mine, but I don't like tagging people. Sorry I just don't like forcing people to do stuff. haha. But if you wanna do this tag, you're more than welcomed to.
Cheers

I'm in Melbourne!

Weather's pretty cooling; thank God the heat wave's over.

Orientation started yesterday and continued today. In fact, It's going to go on until the end of the month. It's really really really tiring.

My place is about 10 minutes walk + 15 minutes tram to the college. So I guess I havta get up earlier in the mornings. damnit

Anyways, thanks guys for the outing on Sunday and special thanks to Jay Min, Ruei Pern, Chay Ann and Kok Leong (haha yes, Kok Leong) for sending me off on Monday. Thanks loads for the card. I really appreaciate it. =)

Woah! I'm leaving for Melbourne in...6days?

So here's how it's going to go down in Melbourne.

I'll be staying with my bro, Mr Gary Tan, and Raymond in an apartment. The apartment is actually a 1 bedroom +1 study unit, so we converted the study into Raymond's room. I might be sharing the bedroom with my bro, or I might just sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. Haha

Inhabitants of apartment 3908: Gary, Sean, Raymond

Raymond's officially gonna be my guardian. I have to have a guardian because I'm under 18 ; my brother cant be my guardian because he's not 21 yet. So Raymond is now my new mama. lol

Ray-mama (I'm so gonna get introuble for this lol)

If Sean decides to ponteng class, Raymond will kena. If Sean misbehaves in class, Raymond will kena. If Sean gets into any criminal activity, Raymond will KENA. Wakaka

As for chores.....
Gary's doing the toilet, floor and bills.
I'm doing the dishes and clothes.
Raymond's doing the cooking and grocery shopping.

Raymond says our 'Cambodian maid' aka Ms Yii Min will probably help me out with my chores. Woohoo!

Anyway, that's the power circle for the year.

I can intentionally get Raymond into trouble by ponteng-ing class, but Raymond can spike my food or pee in my orange juice or something. I can intentionally poop on the toilet floor to get my brother, but i guess he will use my toothbrush to clean it up or something.

This is going to be an interesting year. =)
