WARNING: long post about an online game competition

Alright, so on Saturday a couple of us went all the way to Setapak to join the Dispatch of Army Myradian Assault event. It's an online game competition. The game, Dispatch of Army (DoA), is kinda like Counter Strike, except it's much faster and there's a lot more additional tactics and skills.

In the game, we formed a clan called VC. It's Sheng's clan actually.

Anyways, I slept at 2am on Friday night and woke up at 6.30am. Blardy hell. Lol

Met up with Sheng, Yong Phang and Sam in Mong Sang Kor bak kut teh in Berkeley. Wen Kuang picked me and Sheng up and sent us to the KTM station. Chay Ann picked up Yong Phang and Sam and met us there sortly after. Vhimal hopped off a KTM from Shah Alam and we began our blardy long journey.

Oh btw, I had a bad stomachache that day. Lol

We took the KTM to KL Sentral. We met up with a couple of IS clan guys. At that point, my stomach was grumbling so much that I had to take a pit stop in the KL Sentral toilet. Yuck. Haha

All of us then took the LRT to the Wangsa Maju station. After getting off, we took a taxi to DotCom cyber cafe, which was the competition site.

Here are the 3 teams VC sent this year:

VC Team 1:
Yong Sheng [VCTheSheng]
Chay Ann [VCzZZz]
CJ/Chris [VCcjsm89]
Sam [VCFLoRa]
Max [ISMaxXx]

VC Team 2:
Naim [VCMouManTai=)]
Vhimal [VCTh![RT]3en]
Sean [VCmonkyatskl]
Yong Phang [VC-Dante-]
Wan [VC-Cornetto-]

VC Team 3:
Chuck [VCc[H]uck]
some funny malay guy/Baby [Babyx7]
3 other random guys

Haha. Long Story short, all of us lost. VC3 was eliminated first. They lost against IS and then VC1.

VC1 was eliminated next. They lost to ME2 (I think), then won VC3. But they fell short to IS as well. Btw, the match between VC1 and IS was the most gan chiong match of the day. Chay Ann was almost godlike in the last round, but he eventually fell to sheer numbers. LOL

As for us (VC2), I guess you can say we went to the quarters (well sort of; the competition system is a bit weird). We won KK first, but lost to REMIX. Then, we won MOL and RED2. Oh and for the record, RED2 got pawned single handedly by Vhimal, IN THEIR OWN MAP. Wakakaka. But after that we lost to REMIX again. =/

It's kinda a great experience. Everytime a match is on, everyone will stand behind the players and cheer. Heck, when Vhimal solo-ed RED2, everyone was cheering like mad; When Chay Ann went on a last minute rampage against IS, everyone was jumping and screaming like crazy baboons. Haha.

Here's all the pics I got:

The Cyber

VC1: (from front) Sheng, Sam, CJ, Max, Chay Ann

IS (from front): killyourbird(I dont know his name haha), Eric, Wen Kuang, Ash, Disturbance (I dont know his real name as well lol)

This is CJ. The guy who plans VC's tactics. Chay Ann was emo-ing because they lost despite his godlike effort; I don't know what's up with Sheng's face. ROFL

L for losers: (clockwise from top) Naim, Baby, Sam, Wan, Yong Phang, Max, Sheng, CJ, Chay Ann, Vhimal, Sean. And if you're wondering what's with my face, I had roti canai in my mouth. LOL

After that, me and Chay Ann sat public transport home. KTM, LRT, taxi. We actually could have followed Sheng's car, but we wanted to teman CJ, who was going to Subang by public transport alone.

We paid another RM8 + RM15 for the taxi to reach Shu Yen's place for her farewell party. It took us 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach her house. God. LOL

Sorry if I was a little dead at the party guys. I was literally dead beat from my lack of sleep and from concentrating throughout the day. And if I was rude, I'm sorry.

I left the party a little early and KO-ed on my bed when I reached home.

On Sunday, I woke up early and went to 1 Utama to work. I spent the whole day there working. It was yet another tiring day. The shop was kinda crazy at times. @@

Well, I'm working another full shift tomorrow. And I want to catch the Liverpool-Everton match at 4am later. So I guess I better turn in soon.

Cheers~
