Well yea, I've been pretty lazy to update recently. Besides exams are coming. =S
Right, first I wanna say that I can't update on the stuff I promised to update about 1 month ago. Because believe it or not, I still haven't gotten Gary's birthday pics and I sort of forgotten what I wanted to update about. lol
So Trinity's practically over. Except for the exams. haha, classes ended last Tuesday and drama exams went on from Wednesday to Friday. Mine was on Wednesday. =) I think we did an OK job.
My EAP Class. =)
I would upload photos of my other tutes, but they're all in other people's cameras and I haven't gotten round to getting them yet. Haha So anyways, between this and the last post, I attended some Trinity Barbecue Night thing, went for the Trinity Ball, learned how to dota, had awesome dota nights in Albert House, gave another shot at getting into US, lost 3 kg, let Raymond cut my hair....3 times, self-learn how to play Erin's acoustic guitar (I SUCK haha), improved my Wii Tennis and had totally awesome times. =)
Damn sad that Trinity's ended. Argh, gonna miss everyone. =(
Oh and about me losing 3kg, it's a pretty interesting story. Haha. I wanted to go for the Trinity Ball, but I didn't have slacks. So I had to wear Gary's slacks. And God knows how different our sizes are; I'm a 32, Gary's a 28. So I swam 50 laps a day for 2 weeks straight and gave up chips, drinks and chocolate. I didn't eat after 9pm and I snacked on apples, pears and bananas. And I managed to fit his pants. Luckily. Hahaha. Go me!
Exams start tomorrow. Damn. EAP on Monday, Literature on Tuesday, Math 1 on Wednesday, Chemistry next Monday, Math 2 next Thursday and Physics next next Wednesday. Damn tulan la my exam timetable, so spread out. I have friends who finish 1 and a hlaf weeks before I do. -__-
Oh and Valecdictory's on the evening of my Physics paper. That's when we graduate. =)
And I have a Monash interview coming Thursday. Cant wait for 2 December to come man. Get everything done and over with.
Other than that, life's been awesomely great.
P.S: I know it's late compared to everyone else, but

We're currently changing Internet service providers 'cause we kept busting our 60gb plan. The new plan's gonna be 150gb. Wahahaha
So yea, I have already survived almost 2 full, Internet-less weeks (had to use Trinity's comp lab or my apartment's business centre to go online).
The new modem arrived today and Internet's gonna return in 3-5 days time.
So til then! =)
P.S: I promise updates on the term break, the party and stuff :)

Hello!
As usual, I'll start by apologising for letting this blog rot to oblivion. I've been busily lazy. =D
Anyhoos, quick updates (I'm lying here) on the stuff I did in the last 3 weeks:
Last 2 Weeks (7/9 - 18/9) I've went jogging 6 times and swimming 3 times. I was officially an exercise freak for a while. Emphasis on the past tense, because my resolve to exercise is currently under heavy threat from the Internet, torrent-downloaded movies and computer games. Haha
Last Week (14/9 - 18/9) I had exams. It was OK I guess. Had to skip Yii Min's birthday celebrations because of exams. Sorry Kakak Cambodian maid. =P
Last Friday (18/9) After my Physics exam, I played badminton for 3 fricking hours in Melb Uni and MSAC with Guo Liang, Matthew, Chai Zhen, Ambrose and Zhi Earn. And a faggot tram driver shut the tram door in Matt's and my face when we were trying to board to go home from MSAC. Jackass. lol
Watched District 9 at night. The show was fricking disturbing for me: emotionally, mentally and physically. Heck, Gary and Raymond left the movie half way. The show had an obvious deep meaning and purpose though. I'd say it's a good movie, given that it could drill its meaning that deep and bring out uncomfortable truths, but it's definitely not a movie to watch after a good full dinner. Lol
Last Saturday (19/9) I joined the Melb Uni badminton tournament! Played D-Grade singles, doubles with Ken and mixed doubles with Chai Zhen. Crashed out of singles really badly. I hit 12 lops to far out of the baseline in a row :S (I swear the Melb Uni courts feel smaller than the ones in MSAC). Reached the quarters in doubles with Ken, but we met with either the top or 2nd seeds and crashed out. Bummer. Reached the semi-s with Chai Zhen in mixed doubles. But the jackass organisers didn't plan the competition well and we only had 5 minutes to play the match. In the end, we simply played for a while before giving up, because we didn't want to go back again on Sunday. lol
Despite me losing, our group turned out quite big winners for the day. Ken and Zhi Earn each won a lucky draw racquet - and there were only 2 racquets up for grabs. Lucky-nyer. Chai Zhen won girl's singles. Chai Zhen and Zhi Earn got second in girl's doubles. Geng. lol if Chai Zhen and I went back on Sunday, she maybe could have won trophies in all 3 events.
All in all, the tournament sucked big time for me. Reasons? 1) I was playing really really badly that day 2) I seriously felt the courts are smaller than usual (its a wooden multipurpose court btw, also used for volleyball and basketball, so there were 3 different coloured lines on the floor) 3) The courts were so dusty that everyone was sliding about - we had to wet our soles with water from time to time to wash the dust off 4) The organisers were total failures. Their planning and match timing were totally screwed up (I was at the courts for 10 hours, of which I played maybe 3 hours, hit around for fun for 2, and waited on my ass for 5) and a few of them seemed kinda rude at times (stress a few, because most of them were friendly).
Last Sunday (20/9) Played baddy again in MSAC with the usual gang. Awesome. Zhi Earn, Chai Zhen, one girl whose name I can't remember (I think it's Xiu Hui - SORRY MY BAD) and Spring cooked dinner at Zhi Earn's sister's place that night. I brought brownies. =) Watched the Man U - Man City match straight after dinner. And OH MY GOD was that match a good one. So so so so so freaking exciting.
Monday (21/9) Played computer games with the Albert House guys.
Tuesday (22/9) Had a haircut. Then I went to Albert House to game again. After that, I went for dinner to celebrate Cheng Lin's birthday somewhere in Flinder's Lane. I can't really remember the restaurant's name. Food was quite good and service was awesome. :)
Wednesday (23/9) Played baddy with the usual gang in MSAC in the morning. Had lunch in Old Town. On my way back from lunch, MY IPOD DIED ON ME. As in it died totally. Now everytime I switch it on, it vibrates like mad and makes loud ticking sounds. I'm actually kinda afraid it might explode or something. Dangerous shit
Thursday (24/9) Went to the Melbourne Museum with Guo Liang, Chai Zhen and Zhi Earn. Students enter for free. The museum was awesomely fun. Totally worth a visit. =)
Friday - Today (25/9) Played squash and volleyball till about 3pm. Damn fun. =) Lunched in Nando's at 4 and headed home. Gary, Raymond, Yii Min, Cheng Lin, Yian Kim and Kai Shen (which technically are all the 3908-ers) are now in the Med Ball. I didn't go because the tickets were kinda expensive and Gary said I've already got the Trinity Ball to attend so I didn't havta go for this one. So I'm stuck alone at home now. Bummer
So yea, that's about it. If you've read this far, kudos for tolerating the seemingly endless picture-deprived post. =)
P.S: Mr Gary Tan's 21st birthday party is next Saturday! It's gonna be in a bar/club, so I'm gonna havta sneak in. But it's ok I suppose, because my parents are sneaking me in. Hahahahaha. The party's called a G-Party; meaning everyone has to come dressed as something to do with the letter G, e.g. Lady Gaga, Gladiator, Ghost, Gay Gigolo in a G string. Haha I'm going as Gambit. :) So anyone knows anyone that has a trench coat I can borrow?

OK I'm going to rant now.
Why? Because I'm quite high today after finishing drama. Booyah! And also, I scrapped my knee during my drama performance, so the stinging red patch on my knee is sort of giving me a kick in the arse to say something.
But the main reason why I wanna rant is because a certain group in Malaysia is TRYING TO BAN MICHAEL LEARNS TO ROCK from performing in Malaysia.
MICHAEL LEARNS TO ROCK, okay.... Ban the Pussycat Dolls, I can understand (even though I don't agree to any banning of concerts), but MLTR?!?!?!?!??
Honestly, I can see no reason to ban Michael Learns To Rock. They're like legends of love songs, not promoters of satanism and sexy clothes (not that I mean satan wears sexy clothes of course).
Like come on....
They're certain things in Malaysia that I don't agree to, but I can understand why they happen.
For instance,
I don't agree with the level of enthuasiasm at this rally, but maybe it was a hot day and the people there were too tired to show their support. I understand.
I totally disagree with a Chinese guy with a belly in slacks playing an electric guitar, but heck maybe it's his dream to be a rock star. I understand.
I totally oppose that dude's someone-just-poked-my-hips-and-pulled-my-scrotum face on that cover, but it's probably a marketing strategy to sell more books. I UNDERSTAND.
Ok, I'm feeling a little lazy to continue explaining further cases, but here's a few more examples of stuff that I think shouldn't be banned in Malaysia but can understand why they are. You probably can work out the issue I'm talking about.
If your IQ is that of a baboon or you're Chay Ann, I'll give you a hint: the pictures are dealing with the same issue. Oh, btw, if you're reading this....What's up Chay Ann? :) haha how's life? lol
Ok, back to the main point. If My Chemical Romance was allowed to perform in Malaysia, I can not, I repeat, can not not not not not not not see a reason why Michael Learns To Rock can't.
I mean, those people who oppose MLTR performing probably can set some performance rules for them like they did for Linkin Park, but I doubt MLTR can even come close to breaking any of them (except rule number 1. Hell, I break rule number 1 every day of my life in Malaysia).
So let's try putting MLTR through the Linkin Park rule checklist.
Rule Number 1:
NO WEARING SHORT PANTS TO PERFORM. ALL PANTS MUST COVER THE LEGS FULLY.
Rule Number 2:
NO SCREAMING. (lolllll??? I wonder how Linkin Park abided this rule)
Rule Number 3:
NO JUMPING. (yeah statue rock concert!)
Rule Number 4:
NO RUDE GESTURES
In my opinion, rule number 4 is pretty reasonable, but I would still prefer no rules to be placed at all. And as a matter of interest, if me and any of my friends were to form a band that sings love songs, I think we'll probably be in jail getting rotan lashes right now.
Neways, except for rule number 1, I think MLTR can easily obey every other rule even if they have voice amplifiers implanted into their throats and springs attached to their shoes.
So my final and obvious verdict:
JUST LET MLTR PLAY IN MALAYSIA LAR. doink
Alright done. Ranting mode over. Sleeping mode on.
buhbye

We had a full dress rehearsal for drama today! We're gonna perform next week in front of 2 HOI tutorials, so we had to like practice the performance real time in proper performance conditions. And I decided to bring my camera along to rehearsal for fun. haha =)
Warning: I look really really really chubby and fat in the pics. For some reason. Anyhoos, I can assure you guys that even though I've been packing a lot of pounds, I'm actually not that round. Honestly. haha
Alan using make-up to paint a unibrow. LOL.
Cynthia, Sean, Sherry. This is sort of my costume - without the jeans (I'll be wearing shorts) and with a white shirt. =)
Haha you can find weird random costume stuff in the drama room. Like this witch's hat with sewn on grey hair. lol
Quote Alan: "Sean, you look like a giant baby!" hahahahahahahaha
Alan, Sean
Sean, Cynthia, Alan. Cynthia's the main character, I'm playing the timid part of her mind and Alan's her violent alter-ego. haha
Sean, Jan, Alan. Jan's supposed to be a horny teacher in the performance, but we've decided to cut her horniness. haha
Haha overall our rehearsal was OK I guess. Roger only wrote half a page of comments and suggestions. Which according to him is an achievement. Haha! Our run time's 9 mins 47 seconds, which is good because the maximum time limit is 10 minutes. Brilliant. =)
I'll try to record our performance next week and upload it if I can. Haha.
Oh and since we're on the topic of drama and stuff, I'm going to watch Jersey Boys with Gary, Cheng Lin and Yii Min tomorrow. It's like a singing stage performance. Woohoo! =)

Posting it on Facebook isn't enough. So here it is again. haha =)
Neways, here's some updates on life.
My HOI essay's done and dusted with. Handing that up on Friday. That means I don't have to study HOI again for the rest of the year (and my life) unless I wanna do HOI Advanced at the end of the year. Awesome
Literature essay questions are coming out on Monday though. Meaning we have about a month to plan and write crap on The Quiet American and The Overcoat. =/ oh well. I guess it could have been worse if both HOI and Literature came out at the same time.
Oh, and I'm also busy with applications again. I'm going for another shot at applying to the glorious nation of US and A. Wish me luck ;)
Other than that, life's been great! Birthday dinners, movies, crapping and skipping HOI lectures. =)
and not forgetting....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASSHOLE TEH RUEI PERN!!!!
Haha, have a good one dude. *ahem*'s waiting for you tonight with a big gift and song dedication again. =P ahahahaha
