Ok the marchpast is over! It was OK I guess. Band members kept dropping stuff throughout the whole thing. Primary kid dropped his cymbal twice, Beatrice dropped her flute thingy, a drummer (not sure who) dropped sticks and I dropped my notes while trying to pick up Beatrice's flute thingy. Haha. But it wasn't that bad I guess.

Oh, and there were 2 small girls who kept marching on the wrong feet. Couldn't really remember their names, so I was calling them 'small Chinese girl' and 'small Indian girl' throughout the marching. Lol

Like last year, we camwhored after the marchpast. Pics are from Sam's blog.

After that, we had a short break then practiced for the NTV7 performance again. We practiced the whole of Thursday, half of yesterday, and there's gonna be a practice later from 4pm-5.30pm. I'm gonna miss half of badminton training. =(

But I guess we really need the practices. We're kinda not ready yet. Haha. Neways, the practices are fun. It's been a really long time since I enjoyed band like I did in the alst few days. =)

And bloody hell, I'm gonna do silly dance moves with the rest of the Saxophones on national TV tomorrow. Silly = horny,pole-dance-like. LOL.

There were some revamping in school over the holidays and the start of the week. They planted new grass on both sides of the basketball court.

The side nearer to the carpark is gonna be turned into a futsal court (heck, they even put metal walls around the area) while the side nearer the KH lab is gonna be turned into a long jump pit and.....a beach volleyball court. That's what Mr Jason said la. But I think he meant a normal volleyball court. Haha.

I don't know why in God's name they put the basketball hoops there. Now all you can do is shoot balls. And if you look closer, you will notice that the long jump pit is perfectly blocking the nice places to shoot. -.-

Anyway, they also cleaned all the classrooms, toilets, tables and chairs during the holidays. And in the process, they mixed up all our tables and chairs everywhere. So we got a new set of vandalised chairs.

I'm betting someone like Ruth or Whay Ying did this. Lol

Eh, 5S classmates (*ahem* Sam *ahem*), read that! Lol. It means I can sing if I want to. Haha!

Oh, and we had to put up decorations around the class for Merdeka this time round as well. Miss Tan brought us recycled flags. Lol. So we decided to just put up the flags (we're lazy asses). =)

So the guys did revert to the cut-and-paste-random-newspaper-pictures-together decorations. Unfortunately, I haven't got any pictures of them. Haha. I will post it up when I take pics of them. Ruei Pern's Zohan pic was freaking funny, I tell you. Hahaha!

And since Merdeka's coming, band practices have also been up and going. Tomorrow, we're marching in the parade as usual. =)

And on a semi-related topic, OUR BAND GOT INVITED TO PERFORM LIVE ON SUNDAY MORNING FOR NTV7. When we heard about it, all of us were like: "Lol. You serious??!?!?"

Yea, the NTV7 event coordinator somehow remembered that we did a performance in Mont Kiara 5 years ago and decided to call us again. Totally random, I tell you. LOL. I was in the band during that performance (Std 6 in fact) but didn't take part, because I was off in the school's annual UPSR seminar in Selesa Hills. Haha!

So basically, none of the members taking part this time were in the performance they remembered. =P

Oh, and Mr Andri excitedly told us that they might want to interview me, Ervin and Deepan. Bloody hell! Mr Andri briefed us on the possible questions they can ask and the answers that we're supposed to know. I repeat, SUPPOSED TO. E.g. the age of the school band, the band motto and stuff like that.

Heck, the only question we could answer was:

"What's NTV7's motto?"
"I FEEL GOOD~(inset NTV7 music here)"

Haha!

So if you wish, you can watch us on NTV7 this Sunday somewhere between 9-11am. It's like a multiple performance show.

And we heard there is gonna be a few celebrities performing as well. Like Pop Shuvit, Jaclyn Victor and some other random local artists that I never heard of.

P.S: Ah Meng Koko got admitted to SJMC for appendicitis on Tuesday. The operation's been done and he's OK. =)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUEI PERN!

If you didn't know, Ruei Pern's the ass of the class. In a good way. Lol, we wouldn't be a complete 5S without his straight-forward funny remarks. Honestly.

Ruei Pern's aka Rueben aka Eric aka the root of all evil left school to High School after Form 3 only to come back to Acmar this year. And he has changed a lot this year. He used to be the mangkuk-hair nerd at the start of the year. But now, he's Chay Ann's identical twin. Brother from a different mother, you know? LOL

So, to commemorate Ruei Pern's birthday, we guys went for a double movie outing. Mummy 3 and Wall E.

Wall E is such a boyfriend/girlfriend movie. If you're in a relationship, it would be a sin not to take your boyfriend/ girlfriend to this movie. Honestly. And we thought it would be a show specially for children. Haha wait, actually it doubles as a children show AND a lovey-dovey show. Lol smart new business strategy from Disney and Pixar. =P

I curi-curi took this in the cinema. Wahahaha

We makan-ed our dinner at Igentis Bubble Tea. BLACK PAPER CHICKEN CHOP ANYONE?

THE SNAG.

Lol. I just found the greatest snag ever. Ok fine, it might not be as disgusting or weird as the pussy powder I posted up last time, but heck, it still made me go o.O

[For those who didn't read my blog at that time, my mum gave me some powder to dry up my sweaty hands. FYI, I have really sweaty hands. Lol. So, I used the powder blindly for a while. Until I noticed the above label. -_-]

Lol, it took me a while to see the mistake (approximately 2 days). Haha!

Prom was GREAT. Haha, I don't know why, but I enjoyed myself there. Even though some people were not that happy with it. To me, it went quite smoothly. Nice job Form Fours. =)

I wore a utaka(I'm not sure how to spell it) for the grand entrance. A utaka's a Japanese outfit. You know the ones those crazy samurai-s wear. Haha. YES I WORE THAT. =P. But I did change into formal attire halfway through for comfort and dancing purposes. Wearing the utaka felt like wearing a dress. Haha.

I went to Jay's house at 6pm and Cze picked us up at 7pm. We were late by around 10 minutes I think. Lol. Cze was stuck in a traffic jam la. Haha

Prom went on smoothly. The food was OK. The performances were quite good. The speeches were....speeches. Except for Ms Steph's. Hers was informal. Haha

The dance floor was long and AWESOME. The DJ was not bad. Better than last year's in my opinion. At least he had loads of special effect lights and smoke machines and a hell lot of new songs.

Prom ended at 11pm I think. After that, I was off to Pooi Cheng's house for the after-prom party. Lol.

This is new. This year, they had a grand entrance for the Form 5s. We entered 3 by 3 (2 guys to a girl) with the spotlight on us. Fuyooo~

Mr Andri's band. They sang All The Small Things -Blink 182. It was OK, but I prefer Davyd'd band. Davyd and gang sang Dirty Little Secret - All American Rejects. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of them. lol

Deborah and Aubrey singing. They were superb. Totally in tune. =)

Following tradition, we opened the dance floor. Terpaksa dance la. It's a tradition. So for all those people who are after Shi Yee, please don't come after me. lol

DANCE FLOOR - everyone's favourite part of Prom

Dance floor was longer than usual this year. I think it's because all of the events ended kinda fast. But it's OK. Longer dance floor = happier me. There were slow dances, there were fast dances. Totally perfect. Heck, even Mr Wang and Mr Saravanan joined the dance floor for a while. Then, they got too tired. Lol. This picture was towards the end when they switched on the lights.

This is in Pooi Cheng's house. I was not sleeping here. I just laid down for a while, then the rest of the people there started putting stuff on me (mainly: my crown, my flowers and Shi Yee's flowers). They were so gentle until I couldn't feel anything on me. Then, they used me as a model. LOL very lebih, I tell you. Very lebih.

P.S: My crown is so small, it cracked when they forcefully tried to put it on my head. LOL [and all pictures are stolen from Pooi Cheng, Ju Ann and Shu Yen. =P]

Ok, Acmar company pbulished their magazine a few days ago. And under the school section, there was a picture of me, Shi Yee and Melissa during Family Day. Wth. They published my bald head in their official magazine. -_-

I went to Megamall today with my mum. My dad supposed to come along, but he pulled out last minute because he wants to watch the Olympics. Haha. I would have joined him, but I needed to settle my prom outfit. Yes, I admit it. I WENT SHOPPING. (gasps of shock)

Anyway, I managed to solve my prom clothing dilemma. Woohoo! (victory dance)

Anddddddddd......on a totally different issue, I definitely have to start studying soon. And I got to finish my US application essay.

Time to get hardworking and serious. [Nerd mode: ON]

A big fight broke out this morning. And it's like the biggest fight in my whole 5 years here.

After effects:
1) Mr Jonathan, who was the closest teacher to the fight was really shocked and emotionally affected.
2) Puan Zahara, who was in the class where the fight occured, was so scared she broke down and cried for quite some time.
3) Our noticeboard glass sliding window thingy was broken.
4) 5P's window was broken during the brawl.
5) Every student was scared like shit. Lol

La Salle had a state player in their team. And that dude is FREAKING PRO. He can dribble past our whole team and score. MULTIPLE TIMES. I think he almost outscored our whole basketball team.

I'm really enjoying school. It's our last 3 months left here, and I'm gonna be really sad when the time comes for me to leave. Really.

Our year is really close to each other too. We're like always united together against a mutual enemy. Or enemies. Which are generally SPM and the Pakistani. They're general things in which everyone hates. Lol

On another interesting topic, Prom's coming. In my opinion, Prom is always like the best event of the year. You get to dress up, you get to do anything you want, there's a long dance floor late into the night, and there's the opportunity to get horny if you want to. Lol, not that I wanna get horny la.

I'm going to Prom to enjoy and have a great time with my friends this year. Especially with Jay and Cze. No horny horny moments. Haha!

The outfit I wore for last year's Las Vegas Prom. (The girl there is Kuang Yee by the way. She's one of the nominees for Prom Queen. Haha)

The theme this year is oriental, and I haven't the foggiest what I'm gonna wear. My mum asked me to wear a samurai outfit there. Ruei Pern ask me go in sumo underwear. LOL

Oh, Merdeka is also around the corner. Meaning band practices are up and going again. Haha! We're like the only band who only prepares stuff last minute. Go us! =P

But due to a stupid suggestion by the new ~~semi-idiotic~~ administrator guy, Mr Jason, the seniors of the band might not be taking part in the Merdeka eve marchpast this year. It's kinda like a tradition that the seniors take part in the marchpast, and then retire and concentrate on SPM.

But since the ever-so-smart Mr Jason made the stupidest suggestion ever and insulted Jay Min directly in his face, we (the leaders) have decided to boycott the function if he carries out his bodoh-to-the-max plan. Who's pessimistic now, eh? And aren't you even gladder we'll all be gone next year?

Lol.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been kinda busy and somehow, my Internet connection is always screwed up whenever I found the time to go online. Lol

So anyway, I went for the Chelsea match on Tuesday. Honestly, it was kinda boring, because Chelsea decided not to rape Malaysia out of courtesy. But at least I got to see superstar footballers up close. =)

Look at Petr Cech's (the goalkeeper in orange) position. He kept moving further out of goal. Lol, he's hinting something~

Then, on Wednesday, we had our futsal final! And we won! Woohoo! Number One babeh! My team's name is Cristianut Crabsticks II Farkenaldo, by the way. I so can't wait to hear Pn Faridah announce our team name when we receive the prizes. Wakakakakaka!

Thursday and Friday were super busy days. We were preparing for our Prefect's Gathering like mad. Running here, running there. Doing this, doing that. You get the drift.

And today, we had our first Prefect's Gathering in the last 4 or 5 years? Haha, the last one was done by Yi Lyn/Natalie/Shi Hui's batch I think. We weren't prefects then, so I don't really know. Haha

Neways, our gathering could be considered the messiest ever event I've been lar. Everything was like messed up. Things didn't go according to schedule; actually the events moved on quicker than expected. Haha, our time estimation skills suck! XD

But I hope it didn't turn out too bad la. So far, all the prefects I asked said it was OK. But I think it was all out of courtesy kua. Haha! If it sucked, it's OK to tell me. =) Lol I don't mind.

And I also hope that even in between all the messiness, you guys (I mean the prefects who came, and if I'm not wrong don't actually read my blog~ lol) had some fun here and there. Haha

And also to Kyle. You're a great boss too~ And it was great fun improvising the sketch with you towards the end wei. The whole part after Shervind kissed and hugged Kyle was totally impromptu. As in we made it up on the spot. Haha!
